Program Overview

Earn your certificate of completion in Microsoft® Office 2007 with the Continuing Education Center.

The certificate program in Microsoft® Office 2007 consists of five courses that provide a quick review of basic PC and Windows® operations followed by detailed instruction on using the three most popular applications of Microsoft® Windows®, 2007; Word, Excel® and PowerPoint®. The program includes specific instruction for each application including theory and a hands-on project, followed by lessons that teach how to integrate applications like Word with PowerPoint® and Word with Excel®.

Program Outline

Instruction Sets
Your program consists of five courses designed to take you step-by-step through the applications of Microsoft® Office 2007.

Here's how it works
Your first course will be sent immediately after your enrollment has been accepted. Other courses will follow as you complete your exams, so that you will always have materials to work with.

Computer Specifications
You will need access to a Microsoft® Windows®-based computer to complete this program. The Continuing Education Center recommends the following computer specifications: IBM® compatible PC with Pentium® IV or better processor, Microsoft® Windows® XP or later as the operating system with 512MB of Memory (1024MB recommended), 1.3GB of free space, and DVD-ROM drive. You will also need Internet access and an email account.

Online Library and Librarian
Students in the Continuing Education Center have access to an online library for use during their studies. Students can use this library to do the required research in the courses they complete or can use it for general reference and links to valuable resources. The library contains helpful research assistance, articles, databases, books, and Web links. A librarian is available to answer questions on general research-related topics via email and to assist students in research activities during their studies with the Continuing Education Center.
